BIG MIND ZEN CENTER SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH
We’re here on a very clear mission. To pass along to you the deep and profound truths of Zen Buddhism that were passed down to us. Zen is one of the most ancient and widely respected wisdom traditions. Why? Because for over 2500 years the Buddha’s insights and views have stayed as relevant to the day-to-day lives of regular people as food, sleep, hope and love.
We all want to more deeply understand and appreciate our lives, our world, our relationships. All it takes is focusing a little energy that way, and finding people to learn from and discuss things with.
Go ahead and ask the big questions, or the small ones… Genpo Roshi and the other Zen teachers here will show you how to find the answers. Zen is alive and well in Salt Lake City and we are here for you.
Our typical year round weekly schedule is to the right. We know you are busy so we offer classes and meditation times that suit your schedule. Dress is casual. Our beautiful meditation room has both cushions and chairs available.
The teachings here at The Big Mind Zen Center are open to everyone. We do not discriminate against nor judge people as to who may come and participate in events as long as they follow the rules and regulations of the Zen Center. The teachings are to help everyone awaken to their True Nature and be better Human Beings that lead more conscious and awakened lives. Some of our teachings are free and some we ask a specific donation for. Genpo Roshi is here to help all Human Beings reach a more awakened life with wisdom and compassion.
